Anika Boyce is an Orlando, Florida native who has a broad base of legal experience in personal
injury litigation involving automobile accidents, slip and falls, negligent security, wrongful death, and
other negligence claims. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida
Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2013, Anika earned her Juris Doctor degree from Florida
State University College of Law in 2016.
Prior to joining Anthony-Smith Law, Anika worked for two Orlando civil defense litigation law firms.
Anika also served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Orange
County for four years. Anika litigated criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor to first degree
felonies, as well as juvenile cases. Throughout her career, Anika has gained significant experience
in developing case strategies, negotiations with opposing counsel, and in providing relentless
representation in obtaining full justice for her clients in the courtroom. Anika is a passionate and
confident advocate with valuable jury trial experience.
Along with her professional achievements, Anika serves on the Board of Directors for the Paul C.
Perkins Bar Association, and devotes her talents to several of the organization’s committees. She
has also served as a member of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Central
Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Anika is a knowledgeable attorney whose proficiencies have resulted in favorable verdicts and
reasonable awards for her clients. She currently represents individuals and families in various types
of litigation and criminal defense.
